Welcome to FMARC – The Fort Myers Amateur Radio Club Inc!
The Fort Myers Amateur Radio Club endeavors to further the hobby of ham radio. The Club provides educational opportunities for new hams and those wishing to upgrade their skills in amateur radio.
The 501c3 Non-Profit Organization sponsors an annual Hamfest and participates in the ARRL Annual Field Day event, as well as the International Lighthouse and Lightship Weekend. There is a yearly Special Event held in March, to recognize the formation of the Flexible Gunnery School on Buckingham Army Airfield.
There are also Club Picnics and our Awards and Installation Dinner at the end of the year, as well as the camaraderie of the monthly Club meetings, and weekly lunch-ins. Foxhunts, Skills Day, and antenna parties have been organized and plans for more activities are in the works.
The Fort Myers Amateur Radio Club, Inc. was incorporated in 1982 and became a 501(c)(3) non profit charitable organization in 2013; and have been issued a Federal ID Number . This corporation is a NON PROFIT PUBLIC BENEFIT CORPORATION and is not organized for the private gain of any person. It is organized under the Non Profit Public Benefit Corporation Law for public and charitable purposes. The purpose for which the corporation is organized is to transact any lawful business for which Non Profit corporations may be organized under the laws of the State of Florida, as they may be amended from time to time and under Section 501(c)(3), Internal Revenue Code.
