Welcome to FMARC – The Fort Myers Amateur Radio Club Inc!

The Fort Myers Amateur Radio Club endeavors to further the hobby of ham radio throughout Southwest Florida. We are a very active club with many educational opportunities for all hams. As the largest amateur radio club in Southwest Florida, we offer new hams and those wishing to upgrade their skills in amateur radio numerous opportunities. We are a place for seasoned hams to learn more and a great spot to explore all the facets of amateur radio.
We are a 501c3 Non-Profit Organization and we sponsor an annual Hamfest as well as participating in the ARRL Annual Field Day and Winter Field Day events. We have special events throughout the year and are active in outreach to the community. The club supports annual scouting events, hurricane seminars, and education.
As an official Laurel VEC license testing organization, we conduct monthly test sessions. Monthly club meetings feature reports, speakers, and most of all comradery with other hams.
We offer educational opportunities, support the very active county ARES® group, and fun things like Foxhunts, Skills Day, and antenna parties. as well as the International Lighthouse and Lightship Weekend. There is a yearly Special Event held in March, to recognize the formation of the Flexible Gunnery School on Buckingham Army Airfield. The club also sponsors an ongoing Swap Shop two Saturdays each month where anyone can sell items or browse through the large collection of radio and equipment, parts and coax the club maintains.
In short, FMARC is a very active club with lots to do. Join us today.
